I want to lose weight like you wouldn't believe but I want to maintain my milk supply so instead of cutting calories I'm going to be more intentional about what I eat; trying to hopefully make better choices. I am also going to strive for 30 minutes of activity a day. I started on Sunday with making a healthier choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner and walking around the block with Liam for 30 min (yes it took me 30 min to walk a mile, but hey I was putting one foot in front of the other).
So here I am starting out and trying to put one foot in front of the other!

Good for you! I need to lose weight as well. I'm the heaviest I have been at 160. Would like to lose 20-30!
ReplyDeleteYou could always look into the paleo lifestyle. I had too do this while nursing my son because of all of his dietary intolerances. He would break out into a rash if I ate dairy or gluten. It was hard because it was a huge lifestyle change but in the end I lost lots of weight, maintained a nice robust milk supply and really just felt better because I was eating so much healthier.

Posting stuff is great for accountability. Taking some bathing suit shots (if even for just you) every 2-4 weeks is also a really great motivator and helps to see progress. GL Elizabeth!
